According to media reports, Hezbollah commander Ali Mohammed Younis was assassinated by unknown individuals south of Nabatiyeh on Saturday, April 4. Younis was reportedly found by the side of a road, between the towns of Qaqiyat al-Jisr and Zawtar al-Sharqiyeh, with stab and gunshot wounds. Unconfirmed reports indicate that a suspect has been arrested.
