Met Office representatives issued ice warnings for Northern Ireland, northern England, and Scotland from Monday, February 24, through Tuesday, February 25. The warnings are in place from 20:00 (local time) on Monday, until 10:00 on Tuesday and additional wintry showers as well as icy patches are expected in the aforementioned areas, including Belfast, Leeds, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Aberdeen. Weather officials have warned of possible hazardous travel conditions.

Transportation disruptions, power outages, and other associated disruptions are expected in affected areas in the coming hours.
