US: Climate activists to protest in several cities December 6

Climate change activists are calling for protest across the US on Friday, December 6. Protests are to be expected in many urban centers throughout the day. This includes New York, Washington, DC, Austin, Dallas, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Some cities are hosting more than one protest on Friday.

A heightened security presence and localized transportation disruptions are likely in the vicinity of all protests.
