At least three people were killed and 20 more wounded during a grenade attack in the village of Adliwal (Punjab state) on Sunday, November 18. According to local sources, unidentified gunmen threw a grenade at a crowd of people during a Sikh religious festival before escaping on motorbikes. An investigation to identify the assailants is currently ongoing. A heightened security presence is to be anticipated in the area in the coming days.
