Environmental groups have called for demonstrations across Serbia on Wednesday, February 5, to demand clean air and concrete measures to combat pollution. In Belgrade protesters will gather in front of the Belgrade City Assembly at 18:00 (local time). Related protests are set to take place in Valjevo, Pozega, Novi Sad, Smederevo, Kula, Pancevo, Vlasotinac, Kraljevo, Niš, Užice, Inđija, Raška, Apatin, Subotica, Kosjeric, Bačka Topola, Gornji Milanovac, Požarevac, Kragujevac and Zrenjanin on Wednesday.

A heightened security presence and localized transportation disruptions are to be expected near all demonstration sites.
