Tribal clashes kill one in Bani Walid (Misrata province) on November 24; further clashes are possible in the near term

At least one person was killed on Tuesday, November 24, during tribal clashes in Bani Walid (Misrata province). Local sources indicate that members of the Al-Futtam tribe clashed in the Wadi Souf al Jin area in a dispute over land ownership.

Tensions remain in the area and further confrontations are possible.
