An Israeli soldier was shot and wounded in a drive-by attack near Dolev in the West Bank on Thursday, February 6, amid rising tensions in the country and territories. The soldier was injured during an attack on a military post, after which the shooter was killed. The attack comes hours after a shooting on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

A heightened security presence is to be expected throughout Israel, though especially in Jerusalem and in the West Bank.
