UK: Ongoing protest in Bristol January 11

The Extinction Rebellion (XR) environmental group has called for a protest in Keynsham (Bristol) on Saturday, January 11, in opposition of expansion plans at Bristol Airport (BRS). Participants began gathering as of 10:00 (local time) at Keynsham Bandstand Memorial Park and are expected to march to an undisclosed location. Participants are as of now not expected to go to BRS.

A heightened security presence and transport disruptions, including traffic and flight delays, are expected during all protest action.
