Emergency crews are responding to an industrial fire in several warehouses along Al Kharj Road near Riyadh late Jan. 16. The cause of the fire is as yet unclear. There have been no immediate reports of casualties.

Heightened security, as well as localized business and transport disruptions, are likely near the incident site. Authorities could evacuate nearby buildings as a precaution. Lingering disruptions are possible after crews extinguish the fire as investigations and recovery operations continue.
