Somalia: Explosion reported in Dinsoor Jan. 27

Event

An explosion occurred in Dinsoor, Bay Region of Somalia, during morning hours, Jan. 27. The incident was reported at a local restaurant frequented by security personnel. At least five people, comprising security officers and civilians, have been wounded in the attack; however, there are currently no reports of fatalities. No group has claimed responsibility for the blast as yet. Localized disruptions are likely in the coming hours as emergency operations and investigations continue.
