Cameroon: Roadside bomb injures two police officers in Limbe Jan. 26

A roadside improvised explosive device (IED) detonated and injured at least two Cameroonian police officers in Limbe during the early morning hours of Jan. 26. The IED was claimed by Anglophone separatists in a video. The attack underscores the pervasive insecurity and threat of violence stemming from the Anglophone crisis, an ongoing conflict between Cameroon's English-speaking regions and the mainly French-speaking central government since 2015.
