Clashes in Inates area (Tillaberi region) displace thousands as of April 11; further unrest expected in near term

According to media sources, clashes between security forces and unidentified armed militants have been reported in the Inates area (Tillaberi region), located near the border with Mali, on Saturday, April 11. As a result, more than 8000 people have been forcibly displaced towards the Ayorou and Dessa areas.
