Orange and yellow warnings are expected to remain in place until approximately 16:00 (local time) on Thursday in central Germany while inclement weather may persist until 18:00 in some central and southern areas. Red wind warnings are also in place in the northern country, in parts of the Schleswig-Holstein, Lower Saxony, and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern states until approximately 13:00 on Thursday, where wind gusts of up to 115 kph (71 mph) are forecast.
