Officials stated that four others were retrieved from the snow, and rescue workers are combing the area for others feared missing. The Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research (SLF) maintains Level 3 (the third-highest level on a five-tier scale) avalanche and heavy snow warnings for the area as of Thursday evening.
