Ukraine: Demonstration planned in Kyiv May 24

Political group plans to demonstrate in Kyiv on May 24; heightened security presence and localized transportation disruptions expected

The Resistance to Capitulation Movement has called for a demonstration in Kyiv on Sunday, May 24, to protest against President Volodymyr Zwlenskiy's perceived concessions to Moscow. Participants plan to gather at 14:00 (local time) at Independence Square (also known as Maidan Nezalezhnosti). Similar demonstrations may occur in urban centers nationwide. The protests are planned to coincide with the anniversary of Zelensky's inauguration.

A heightened security presence and localized transportation disruptions are expected near the protest site.
