A dust storm hit the Riyadh area and parts of Eastern Province, including Dammam, Al-Jubail, and Dhahran, on Thursday, January 3. Flight disruptions, including cancelations and delays, were reported at King Khalid International Airport (RUH), serving Riyadh, and King Fahd International Airport (DMM), serving Dammam. Residual transportation disruptions are expected to persist into Friday, January 4.
