An improvised rocket launcher (IRL) on a truck fired 10-12 rockets from Al-Rashdiya on Wednesday evening (local time), March 11, at Al-Taji base (27 km [17 mi] north of Baghdad), host to US troops. No casualties or claim of responsibility was immediately reported.

Similar attacks targeting military bases hosting US troops are possible in Iraq over the near term.
