Shooting reported in Estepona (Málaga province) on October 2; no reported casualties, situation contained



A shooting was reported in the resort town of Estepona (Málaga province) on the evening (local time) of Tuesday, October 2. The incident reportedly took place in the vicinity of the Mr. Noodles restaurant near the coast, and local witnesses reported seeing police chasing two suspects down the nearby Calle Real. Reports indicate that two individuals have been arrested, and the situation is believed to be contained; the motivation for the shooting remains unclear.
