UK: Weekend rail disruptions scheduled at London King’s Cross station Jan. 25-Mar. 1

Transport officials confirm rail service disruptions to and from London King’s Cross station on weekends between January 25 and March 1; confirm train reservation

Representatives of the National Rail have announced scheduled disruptions to rail services to and from London King's Cross (KGX) station on all weekends from Saturday, January 25, through Sunday, March 1, due to repair works. There will be no trains to or from KGX on January 25, through Sunday, January 26, or from Saturday, January 29, through March 1. There will be a reduced service on the East Coast Main Line on the remaining weekends, including on Saturday, February 8, through Sunday, February 9, and Saturday, February 15, through Sunday, February 16. Officials confirmed that the maintenance works will not affect Tube service to and from KGX.

Further disruptions including delays and cancelations, and an increased demand for alternative means of transport are expected during the maintenance works.
