Event

At least 31 Afghan National Security Forces (ANSDF) were killed and more than 24 injured in a targeted attack by a vehicle-borne improvised device (VBIED) in the Ghazni Police District 3 (PD3) early on Sunday, November 29. The Afghan Interior Minister Tariq Arian confirmed the suicide incident following an announcement by a member of the Ghazni provincial council's confirmation of the death toll. Following the blast, militants engaged security forces with small arms fire and rocket-propelled grenades. Advice

Those in Ghazni province are advised to avoid the affected area, remain vigilant for possible militant activity, and adhere to all instructions issued by the local authorities and their home governments.

The security environment in Afghanistan remains complex. Professional security advice and support should be sought prior to travel.
