Algeria: Power cuts scheduled in Algiers February 14-15 /update 2

Sadeg, the electricity and gas distributor, announced that there will be power cuts in eastern Algiers from Friday, February 15, through Saturday, February 15. Power cuts will likely take place between 09:00 to 16:00 (local time) on both days.

There have been ongoing cuts in western Algiers since Monday, February 10, and will continue through Sunday, February 16.

Individuals in the affected areas are advised to monitor the situation, keep battery-operated devices fully charged whenever possible, and to be cautious when driving or crossing streets if traffic signals are not functioning.
