Bakery fire in Gaza Strip leaves nine dead, 60 injured on March 5; avoid the area



At least nine people were killed and 60 others injured on Thursday, March 5, when a fire spread through a crowded market in the Gaza Strip. The fire reportedly originated at a bakery in the market, located in the Nuseirat refugee camp. According to the Palestinian health ministry, 14 of the injured are in critical condition.

A heightened security presence and localized transportation disruptions are to be expected in the vicinity of the incident.
