Singapore is set to host the 33rd Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit from Sunday, November 11, through Thursday, November 15. The summit is scheduled to be held at the Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Local police have announced the demarcation of a special restricted zone around the location of the summit. Road closures are expected during the summit in the vicinity of the exhibition center along with associated transportation disruptions. Increased congestion and a heightened security presence are to be anticipated at local transportation hubs, including Singapore Changi Airport (SIN).
