Three people were killed and five wounded in Shaab district when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED) exploded. A second VBIED detonated in Bayaa district, killing two and wounding six. An improvised explosive device (IED) reportedly went off in Baladiyat district, killing one person and wounding four. No group immediately claimed responsibility for the blasts.
