Around 8000 fishermen from 22 provinces gathered in front of the Agriculture and Cooperative Ministry in Bangkok on Tuesday, December 17, to demand that government eases fishing restrictions and addresses labor shortage in the sector. Protesting fishermen warned for further rallies through at least Wednesday, January 15, 2020, if their demands are not met.
