Gunshots were reported near the Alassane Ouattara University Campus 2 in Bouaké on Wednesday, November 28, following unrest earlier in the day. According to local media reports, the gunshots were heard around 20:00 (local time) along with clashes between students and guards at a nearby prison camp. Initial unconfirmed reports indicate at least three people have been wounded. Further violence is possible in the coming hours and days.
