Landslide following heavy rains kills three minors in Kasese district (Western region) on November 24; monitor weather updates



Three minors were killed after a landslide occurred in Kasese district on Tuesday, November 24, following heavy rains. The incident occurred in the village of Kinyamagana in Bwensumbu sub-county. The house of the victims was destroyed in the landslide.

Residual disruptions are expected in the area over the near term. Further thunderstorms are forecast in the coming days and could lead to further landslides in the area.
