UK: Protest scheduled in London November 30, December 3

Protests to oppose NATO summit and President Trump in London on November 30, December 3; transportation disruptions likely



Civil society groups have scheduled a protest in London on Saturday, November 30, and Tuesday, December 3, to oppose NATO practices and President Trump. The event comes ahead a NATO Heads of State Summit to be held in London on Tuesday, December 3 and Wednesday, December 4. On Saturday, participants are set to gather from 10:30 to 17:30 (local time) at the Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church. On Tuesday, protesters will gather at Trafalgar Square at 16:00, march to Buckingham Palace at 17:00, and reach Canada Gate at 17:45. Festivities will later begin at 19:00 at Buckingham Gate.

Associated transportation disruptions and a heightened security presence are to be expected in the vicinity of the protest.
