Anti-sanctions protests are scheduled to take place in urban centers nationwide on Sunday, October 25. The demonstrations have been organized by the ruling ZANU-PF party as well as the Southern African Development Community of the African Union (SADC) and are being held to denounce the ongoing economic sanctions by the US and the EU that have been imposed on Zimbabwe.

A heightened security presence and localized travel disruptions are expected in the vicinity of the demonstrations
