A union representing health workers has called on members to demonstrate in urban centers nationwide on Wednesday, November 4, to protest the government's handling of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, and to call for better salaries and working conditions. In Caracas, participants will reportedly gather at Maternidad Concepcion Palacios Hospital at 09:00 (local time) before marching to Caracas Plaza. Clashes between security forces and pro-government militias cannot be ruled out.

A heightened security presence and localized disruptions are possible in the vicinity of all demonstrations, and clashes between security forces and pro-government militias cannot be ruled out.
