Heavy rains cause deadly landslide in Puerto Valdivia (Antioquia Department) November 23; further heavy rainfall forecast over the coming days



Heavy rainfall caused a deadly landslide in Puerto Valdivia (Antioquia Department) on Monday, November 23, leaving at least seven people dead and nine injured, as well as damaging properties and infrastructure.

Further heavy rainfall is forecast, and consequent flooding and associated disruptions, including road closures, are to be expected in the affected area over the coming days.
