Student rallies planned in Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore on November 27; avoid all demonstrations as a precaution

Student protesters are expected to gather in Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore on Friday, November 27, to demand increased government spending on schools and educational reforms. The rallies have been organized by the Progressive Students' Federation (PRSF) group. In Islamabad, participants are expected to gather from 14:00 (local time) outside the National Press Club. In Karachi, demonstrators will gather at Regal Chowk from 15:00, and in Lahore, protesters will gather from 15:00 at Charing Cross.

Attendance at the protests remains unclear; however, a heightened security presence is likely in the vicinity of all rallies. Localized disruptions should also be anticipated and clashes between protesters and security personnel cannot be ruled out.
