Three soldiers were killed and ten others wounded in a rocket-propelled grenade attack targeting a military logistics truck in the Rathedaung township (north of Rakhine state) on Sunday morning, December 16 (local time). The deadly attack took place 8 km (5 mi) from downtown Rathedaung, near the Htee Swea and Kyauk Tan villages. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack as of Tuesday, December 18.
