German police officials announced on the morning (local time) of Thursday, February 20, that the suspected shooter in Hanau (Main-Kinzig-Kreis district) was found dead in their apartment in the city. On the night of February 19, a gunman opened fire at a hookah lounge in Downtown Hanau. The shooter the drove to another lounge in the Kesselstadt neighborhood and fired on another group of individuals before fleeing the area.
