Police have reported an explosion at a manufacturing plant in Houston (Texas state) at 04:30 (local time) on Friday, January 24. The exact location of the incident is 4500 Gesner road. Authorities have cordoned off the vicinity, including Gessner, Genard, and Clay roads and advise to avoid the area. Media reports have indicated that the shocks were felt across the city, and as far as 32 km (20 mi) away. Debris was also reportedly falling from the sky at the scene. There were no immediate reports of casualties. Reports are emerging.
