On the afternoon (local time) of Monday, September 3, a Palestinian man reportedly attempted to stab several Israeli soldiers in Kiryat Arba, a town located near Hebron. According to a police spokesperson, the assailant was shot and killed by security forces at the scene of the incident. A heightened security presence is anticipated in the area in the coming hours and days.


Individuals present in Israel and the Palestinian Territories are advised to monitor developments to the situation. Due to the underlying terrorist threat, travelers in Israel, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip are advised to report any suspicious objects or behavior to the authorities.
