Trade unions schedule nationwide mobilizations on January 9; disruptions to transportation and business expected

Trade unions have called for nationwide mobilizations on Thursday, January 9, in commemoration of Martyr's Day. Events are scheduled in Panama City, David (Chiquiri), La Mesa (Veraguas), Chitré (Herrera), and Penonomé (Coclé). In Panama City, participants are set to gather at the stairs of the National Institute as of 09:00 (local time) for a rally and march.
