Alitalia announced that several flights have been canceled on Tuesday, February 25, due to a planned nationwide strike by airport employees. The airline stated that flights departing during peak times between 07:00 and 10:00 (local time) and 18:00 and 21:00 on Tuesday will operate as scheduled. Some Alitalia flights on the late evening of Monday, February 24, and the morning of Wednesday, February 26, will also be canceled.

Other carriers, including British Airways and EasyJet, have announced that disruptions are to be expected for any flights to and from Italy during the strike.
