US: March scheduled in New York City January 5

Civil society group schedules rally in New York City on January 5; transportation disruptions likely

The IAC Philadelphia Delegation has scheduled a solidarity march in New York City on Sunday, January 5, in opposition to recent anti-Semitic attacks in the United States. Participants will gather at 11:00 (local time) at Foley Square and later march across the Brooklyn Bridge. A rally will later take place at Columbus Park.

Associated transportation disruptions and a heightened security presence are to be expected in the vicinity of the march and rally.

Individuals in New York City are advised to monitor the situation, avoid all public demonstrations as a precaution, anticipate localized disruptions and a heightened security presence in the event of any demonstrations, and adhere to instructions issued by local authorities.
