Czech Republic: Shooting reported in Líský November 7

At least four killed in shooting in Líský on November 7; emergency services responding



At least four people, including two children, have reportedly been killed in a shooting in the town of Líský (Kladno region) on Saturday, November 7. While the motive behind the shooting remains unknown, the fatalities were reportedly from the same family. Security forces are responding to the incident. It remains unclear whether the perpetrator has been apprehended or whether they are among the fatalities.

A significant police presence is to be expected in and around Líský while emergency forces work at the scene. A disruption to transportation and business is likely in the area over the near term.  


Those near Líský are advised to avoid the area of the incident, monitor the situation, and heed all instructions issued by local authorities.
