UK: Flybe airline cancels all flights March 5

Flybe enters administration and cancels all flights from March 5; confirm travel itineraries

The UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) announced on Thursday, March 5, that the Flybe airline has entered administration and subsequently canceled all flights - including those operated by Stobart Air - effective immediately. Impacted individuals have been advised by the CAA not to travel to the airport and to contact the relevant airline for more information.

Flight disruptions, including cancelations and rescheduling, are expected in the coming hours and days.

Flybe operates almost 40 percent of UK domestic flights.

Potentially affected travelers are advised to keep abreast of the situation, confirm travel itineraries, contact the airline and its partners for more information, and anticipate flight disruptions.
