DRC: Protest expected in Kinshasa January 14

Event

The children of soldiers and police officers have called for a protest in Kinshasa on Tuesday, January 14, to denounce social inequalities. Participants are due to gather at 10:00 (local time) at the Kintambo Magasin roundabout and will later march towards the Cité de l'Union Africaine.

An increased security presence, as well as localized traffic disruptions, are likely along the march route.
