Student activists clashed with police forces in the Kavouri district of Athens in the morning (local time) on Friday, November 29, during a protest march held on Poseidonos Avenue. The clashes started when a small group of students attempted to break through a police cordon and force their way into a hotel, where university headmasters were having a meeting. The incident prompted the closure of the avenue and resulted in significant transportation disruptions.
