Protest against gender violence planned in Moscow November 25; heightened security presence and transportation disruptions expected

Activists will hold a demonstration in Moscow on Monday, November 25, to mark the International Day for the Eradication of Violence against Women. Participants will gather in Yauzskie Vorota Square from 18:00 to 21:00 (local time) on Monday evening. The demonstration has reportedly been approved by the mayor's office.

A heightened security presence and localized disruptions, such as road closures and transportation delays, are expected in the area.
