Protesters are scheduled to gather in the cities of Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula on Saturday, November 28, to denounce the government's response to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic and it's handling of the responses to hurricanes Eta and Iota. In Tegucigalpa, activists are scheduled to gather outside of the National Pedagogical University Francisco Morazan (UPNFM) from 15:00 (local time). The demonstration in San Pedro Sula is scheduled to occur at the same time, in the vicinity of the 105 Brigada roundabout.

A heightened police presence and localized transport disruptions should be expected in the vicinity of the demonstration.
