At least 27 people were killed when a small propeller plane crashed in Goma (North Kivu province) on Sunday, November 24. The plane, bound for the city of Beni, crashed shortly after takeoff in Goma's Mapendo neighborhood. All 18 people onboard the plane were killed in the incident, including several others on the ground who were struck by debris.
