Eco-terrorist group Individualistas Tendientes a lo Salvaje (ITS) claimed responsibility for an explosion that wounded at least five people at a bus stop at the intersection of Avenida Vicuña Mackenna and Avenida Francisco Bilbao in Santiago on Friday, January 4. The intersection has been closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic. A heightened security presence is to be expected in the affected over the coming hours as authorities continue to investigate the incident.
