Heavy rains which occurred during the afternoon of Thursday, November 19, have caused flooding in parts of Bogota. Reports indicate that a number of roads, houses and vehicles were inundated. Among the worst affected areas are Barrios Unidos, Chapinero, San Cristobal, Santa Fe, and Teusaquillo. Traffic on part of the Bogota-Choachi road has been disrupted by a landslide. Emergency services have been deployed to clear affected travel routes.
