Activists intend to stage a caravan protest in San Jose on Tuesday morning, November 10, to protest the government's efforts to secure a deal with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), among other issues. Reports indicate that the demonstration, called for by leaders of the National Rescue Movement (MRN), will take place on Ruta 27 from the Sheraton Hotel to the La Sabana area from 07:00 (local time).

A heightened security presence and localized disruptions are expected in the vicinity of the demonstration. Clashes between demonstrators and security forces cannot be ruled out.
