Afghanistan: Militants reportedly planning car bomb attack on Kabul airport

Officials warned on August 29 that militants plan to target Kabul airport (KBL) with a car bomb at an unspecified date



US government officials released a statement on Wednesday, August 29, warning of a militant plan to attack Kabul's Hamid Karzai International Airport (KBL) with a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED). The date of the potential attack is not known as of August 29.
